EMISSIONS TREATMENT SOLUTIONS BY TECHNOLOGY

We offer a wide range of technological solutions that cover all of the needs and cases that may arise in large industries. We approach each project by gaining an overview of the situation and conducting a thorough study of the specific characteristics of your facility, before implementing the most suitable solutions for each case.

RTO

Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO) is a technology used to eliminate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in gaseous emissions.

RTO systems are extremely efficient, which means they are highly recommended for a wide variety of industrial applications. Moreover, RTO systems are able to optimise their use of energy.

RCO

Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation (RCO) systems are designed to eliminate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in medium and low flows (less than 10,000 Nm3/h), and for medium and low concentrations of VOCs (less than 5 g/Nm3).

RCO systems operate at a lower temperature, owing to the catalytic process that reduces the oxidation temperature from 850 ºC to 300 ºC.

A Direct Fired Thermal Oxidiser(DFTO) is designed to oxidise Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). DFTOs are most commonly used for flows contaminated by VOCs that are highly concentrated and/or have a high calorific value.

VOC concentrator

Zeolite rotor concentrators are used as a complement to RTO systems when the flow of gas to be treated is high and the concentration of solvents is low.

This method reduces the initial volume of polluted air that enters the RTO system while increasing the concentration of the pollutants the air contains. This makes it possible to use a smaller RTO system and achieve autothermal operating conditions.

NOx elimination

DeNOx systems are used to reduce the amount of nitrous oxides present in gas flows. The solutions available include Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR).

Baghouse filters

Baghouse filtersare devices that remove the solid particles suspended in gas flows by passing the gas through fabric.

They are used when highly efficient filtration is required, as they are able to eliminate submicronic particles with 99.9 % efficiency.

SCRUBBER

Scrubbers are devices that absorb compounds using an absorbent liquid, thereby “scrubbing” the gases that are emitted into the atmosphere. It is a non-destructive technology.

The most common application of scrubbers is where there are concentrations of acid or basic gases, which are usually generated in conjunction with Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) containing halogenated compounds that generate acids.

Active carbon filters

Active or activated carbon filtersare adsorption systems that capture and adsorb pollutants from the process gas by making the pollutants adhere to the solid phase.

These filters are ideal for minimizing VOC emissions in intermittent processes and for treating odours.
