Interview to Gemma Vinyals, Environment & Quality Director at Tecam
- Question: How long have you been working at Tecam?
- Answer: Since September 2020
- Q: When you were little, what did you want to become when you grew up?
- A: I wanted to become a dentist 🙂
- Q: How would you describe your perfect holidays?
- A: A merge between culture and sun (like beach) in a new place
- Q: Where would you like to travel when the Covid pandemic is finally over?
- A: Ufff very difficult ;-). Perhaps Japan, China, Thailand or Bali.
- Q: Do you practice any sports? Do you have a favourite sports team or player?
- A: Pilates, ioga, I also practice paddle, but only did 10 classes in 2018-2019 before the pandemics. My favourite sports teams is FC Barcelona. I like football.
- Q: Which music style or bands do you like listening to?
- A: Different styles – I like salsa, bachata (because I like dancing salsa, bachata and kizomba), pop music, etc. I like to listen to Spotify, and I’m currently listening to a summer 2021 list.
- Q: If you could change something in the world, what would you change?
- A: Silly people hahahaha… No, really: Envy, Rage and all bad children’ situations and why not, poverty.
- Q: What do you do to reduce your environmental footprint?
- A: I like the 3R: reducing, reusing and recycling, but mostly reusing.
- Q: What is your life motto?
- A: I like the meaning of “feeling free”. In fact, for things, people and situations. I think everyone should feel free to do what he/she really needs, without being coerced by stereotypes nor situations that may change his/her behaviour, obviously without hurting anyone.
- Q: Do you prefer to plan or to improvise?
- A: I like both, perhaps planning is quite well for my every day, but I feel comfortable with an improvised plan. I think sometimes it is better to improvise. If you don’t have any expectations, then you enjoy more and more.
- Q: Would you travel to the past or to the future?
- A: Maybe to the future, only to not thinking a lot in some situations in the future.
- Q: What are the Tecam values you most identify with?
- A: Commitment, future vision and product reliability.
- Q: What is the emoji you use the most?
- A: ;p, 😉
- Q: What super power would you choose?
- A: Ummm I would like to have the 6 gems. Or the Dragon Balls 😉 although I really have them – made of plastic ;-). I like comics and films about Marvel, X men, The Fantastic 4, all super heroes. I would like to be Super Girl, Wonder Woman or Iron Man because they can fly. I like Mystique a lot, you can transform into another person (wow), and Magneto for the mind power. Flying, knowing what other people think, controlling time, or being everywhere hahahaha
- Q: What is the latest series/movie you have seen?
- A: Currently I’m watching Suits, New Amsterdam and The Crown. The latest series was Designated Survivor and How to get away with murder, but the best for me is Ozark.
- Q: What has made an impact on you the most on a personal level this last year of Covid pandemics?
- A: Maybe the relationship with my family and friends, the responsibility about my family’s health, as well as their humanity and fragility.
