In line with its core action, minimizing the environmental footprint in production processes, Tecam has been accredited as a environmental committed company in its management with ISO 14001. This certificate reachs the company after being the winner of the Tank Storage Awards 2020 in the Environmental Performance Category.
Tecam, an environmental technology company for the treatment of emissions and hazardous waste in the industry, has obtained the ISO 14001 certificate that accredits the company’s environmental commitment in its own management. This certificate has been made official in March, in the same month that Tecam was announced winner, among twelve other companies, of the Tank Storage Award 2020 in the category of Environmental Perfomance.
The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certificate states that the company applies environmental regulations in its way of managing. This means that the ambition for sustainable development in Tecam becomes present in all areas: internal regulations, use of resources, waste management, facilities, environmental impact assessments, etc.
This certificate, which is not mandatory or common in the sector, is in line with current social trends that call for a sustainable economy and, in addition, with Tecam’s main goal, which is to reduce the environmental impact on industrial production. Likewise, Tecam’s way of proceeding is consistent with the sustainable development goals set by the UN.
Bernat Sala, CEO of Tecam, has received the ISO 14001 certificate with satisfaction and commitment and has expressed his willingness to continue complying with environmental requirements in the future: “This certificate recognizes Tecam’s commitment to sustainability in our way of doing things”.
